Job Summary

The Senior Graphic Artist is responsible for leading the design process for a wide range of visual assets, including marketing materials, website graphics, advertisements, logos, and other creative assets. This role involves managing and executing complex design projects while mentoring and guiding junior designers. The Senior Graphic Artist ensures that the visual output aligns with the brand’s goals, and they are expected to bring high-level creativity and technical expertise to every project.

Job Description



  • Design Leadership:



    • Lead the design process for a variety of creative projects, including branding, print media, digital graphics, packaging, web design, and social media content.

    • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and conceptualize visual solutions that meet business goals.

    • Oversee and contribute to the creative direction for design projects, ensuring consistency with the brand’s visual identity and overall marketing strategy.




  • Project Management:



    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.

    • Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are delivered in line with their expectations and specifications.

    • Provide constructive feedback and direction to junior designers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.




  • Creative Development:



    • Generate original design concepts, sketches, and layouts for digital and print media.

    • Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to design projects.

    • Create visual concepts that effectively communicate the intended message while being visually appealing and functional.




  • Collaboration and Communication:



    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and content teams, to develop design strategies that align with business and marketing objectives.

    • Communicate design ideas and concepts to non-design stakeholders effectively and ensure their feedback is incorporated into the final product.

    • Review designs to ensure they are consistent with the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints.




  • Mentorship and Training:



    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers, helping them develop their skills and improve their design techniques.

    • Conduct design reviews and give constructive feedback to support professional growth and enhance team performance.




  • Quality Control and Attention to Detail:



    • Review and edit designs for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards before final production or publication.

    • Ensure designs are optimized for various platforms and print materials, maintaining high standards of quality and visual appeal.




  • Technical Expertise:



    • Use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) to create high-quality designs.

    • Familiarity with web design tools and responsive design practices is often required, along with an understanding of HTML/CSS for basic web design tasks.

    • Stay knowledgeable about the latest design technologies, tools, and trends, incorporating new techniques into your work when appropriate.
