Job Summary
The Trade and Promo Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support in the planning, execution, and analysis of trade and promotional activities. This role assists in the development and execution of trade programs, promotional campaigns, and event coordination to boost brand awareness, engage customers, and increase sales. The assistant ensures that all promotional materials, products, and campaigns are aligned with company goals and are effectively implemented in the market.
Job Description
Promotional Campaign Support:
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of trade promotions, including special offers, discounts, and product launches.
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure all promotional materials are prepared, distributed, and executed on time.
- Help manage the logistics of promotional events, ensuring that all necessary materials, products, and staff are available and ready for deployment.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in organizing trade shows, product launches, and other promotional events, including venue selection, registration, setup, and follow-up activities.
- Manage the inventory and distribution of promotional materials, including banners, flyers, samples, and other branded collateral.
- Help with event promotions and coordinate activities to ensure successful brand engagement during the event.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to help inform promotional strategies.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, collecting data to assess customer engagement and sales performance.
- Prepare reports on promotional activities, summarizing results, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Assist in coordinating with external vendors and suppliers to source promotional products, event materials, and marketing collateral.
- Ensure that all third-party vendors meet deadlines and maintain quality standards for promotional materials and event supplies.
Customer Interaction and Engagement:
- Support the sales and customer service teams in engaging with customers during promotional campaigns.
- Answer customer inquiries related to promotions, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
- Help create engaging content for promotional materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and advertisements.
Budget Management:
- Assist in monitoring promotional budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and managed according to budget guidelines.
- Help prepare and submit expense reports related to promotional activities and trade events.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the trade and promotional team, including maintaining records, managing schedules, and organizing files.
- Assist with the coordination of product samples, giveaways, and other promotional items for events or campaigns.
