Job Summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. This position requires performing cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. The cleaner will ensure a safe and hygienic environment for employees, visitors, or residents by following health and safety guidelines.
Job Description
- Gather and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with use of powered equipment
- Observe appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; report needed repairs, safety hazard or conditions requiring outsides vendors services
- Scrub, strips, and sanitizes using powered machines equip with rotating brushes
- Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies
- Washes walls ceilings, woodworks, windows, mirror, and fixtures using both step and extensions ladders
- Learn and operate all housekeeping and janitorial tools and equipment
- Follow procedures for housekeeping and janitorial standards
- Must be willing to perform other activities or tasks analogous or pertinent to the performance or delivery of the services needed and required
