Job Description
- Installation and Setup: Install HVAC systems, components, and BMS equipment, ensuring all systems are configured and calibrated to meet building needs.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC and BMS equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- System Optimization: Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of HVAC systems and BMS to maintain efficiency and minimize energy consumption.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose issues with HVAC systems, sensors, and controllers, identifying faulty components and performing corrective actions.
- BMS Management: Operate and maintain building management systems, adjusting parameters such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and air quality to improve occupant comfort and system performance.
- Testing and Calibration: Conduct testing, calibration, and adjustments of HVAC systems to ensure that they operate according to specifications.
- Energy Efficiency: Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs by optimizing HVAC and BMS settings.
- Customer Service and Communication: Communicate with clients to provide technical support, explain system operations, and advise on maintenance practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, report on repairs, and document system updates or changes made during servicing.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all HVAC and BMS systems are in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to urgent service requests for system breakdowns, performing repairs promptly to restore service.
