Job Description
- Receiving Shipments:
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming goods and materials.
- Check and verify product quantities and condition against shipping documents, report discrepancies or damage.
- Inventory Management:
- Help organize, label, and store products in designated warehouse areas to optimize space and efficiency.
- Assist in performing regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pick and pack orders for shipping based on customer or order requirements.
- Ensure items are packaged securely and properly labeled for shipment.
- Loading and Unloading:
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks or containers using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Stack and arrange products in the correct storage areas.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain and tidy storage areas, ensuring that items are stored correctly and safely.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and equipment to avoid damage or injury.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other warehouse staff, such as forklift operators, supervisors, and logistics teams, to ensure the smooth flow of goods.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or warehouse manager to help improve efficiency.
